Description
Would you like to take your holiday in one of the less discovered areas of France? The Corrèze is for lovers of the great outdoors. This department is home to six of France's "most beautiful villages" nestled amongst acres of rolling green countryside and plentiful rivers, lakes, gorges and waterfalls.
Nestled amongst meadows and woodland in utter peace and tranquillity, this property is yet perfectly situated within fifteen minutes drive of beautiful villages, caves, world famous chateaux and the River Dordogne. Book a holiday here if you're looking for a mix of lazy days by the pool in glorious surroundings combined with lots of places to visit on your doorstep.
Babysitting, maid service, luxury hampers and gourmet French chef available on request.
Interested in having a chef cook for you during your stay?
Your chef, Rodolphe Fischnaller has worked at Gordon Ramsay's L'Aubergine, J-C Novelli's The Four Seasons and Le Pont de la Tour, the most "Jet Set" of Sir Terence Conran's restaurants.
Here is what he has to say...
From A to Z, the chef will handle everything:
After an initial interview to choose the menu "to suit your tastes and budget", you will receive a quotation setting a price per person, including the meal you have chosen and the service provided in your home by the chef (shopping, preparation and cooking). All the produce is top quality and bought fresh on the day of the meal. Your chef will provide all his own equipment (knives, pans, casseroles etc...).
The food is prepared and cooked "live" in your kitchen and if cooking just happens to be one of your hobbies, the chef will be only too pleased to teach you a few techniques while he is making the meal.
Everything is prepared at the last moment and when he leaves, everything is left exactly the way it was when he arrived
The price per person including the meal and the chef's services (purchasing, preparation, cooking and transport) start from 25€/person, depending on your choice of Soup, Starter, Fish, Meat, Cheese and Dessert. If you prefer to do the shopping yourself, the chef's services (preparation & cooking) will cost you 40 €/hour.
There is also a Champagne & wine list.
The chef charges no travelling expenses within a radius of 50km; for longer distances, a fixed-rate travel charge is applied.
To make a firm booking, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required.
Learn to Cook at Home
The Chef is always delighted to come and pass on his skills in your own home and will provide his own cooking utensils. For all cookery lessons, his fees are 40 €/hour. You will just need to do the shopping at your own expense and the schedule of the lesson will be discussed together.
The chef and his wife and colleague, both of whom are bilingual, will be delighted to provide you with further information.
