Description
Combine the pleasures of the coast with the tranquillity of the countryside at this ensemble of Breton houses with all weather swimming pool, sauna and games barn in the beautiful Côtes d’Armor. The road hugs the golden sandy beach before you turn up through the pine-clad forest on your approach to this peaceful retreat. On site there’s boules, table tennis and a pool table for the older children plus a host of children’s toys to discover for the tots. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the activities and attractions on offer in the surrounding Côte du Granit Rose with its marvellous sandy beaches and great tumbles of pink granite rock, sculpted by the wind into strange shapes. Children will be enchanted to hear that according to Breton folklore the rocks were home to the Margot-la-Fee, tiny reclusive fairies who tended their fairy cattle and sheep. You might have caught them sunbathing on the rose-pink stones and if you asked nicely they would share their bread and milk…
