Additional Information

Barneville-Carteret is a family seaside resort just 20 minutes drive away. Each year, Barneville-Carteret is granted the "European Blue Flag" for the quality of its long, sandy beaches and its sailing harbour. The Carteret cape is the last of the large capes of the Cotentin, opposite the island of Jersey and the islets of the Ecrehou, which are only some twenty miles away.

The Carteret port is very lively with its many fishing boats, yachts, sailing boats and regular service to and from Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. This is the place to book a day cruise to the Anglo-Norman islands or the Brittany coast.

The beach is supervised from 1st July to 31st August.
