The outdoor seating area has a sofa and chairs, wooden steamer sun-loungers and outdoor eating area with BBQ.

The whole property is securely fenced so there is no danger of children wandering away.

El Valle resort is set to become the most exclusive sports and leisure destination in South Eastern Spain. Boasting a superb location, nestled at the foot of the Carrascoy mountains just 10 kilometres from the city of Murcia and only a 20 minute drive away from the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor. With miles of sandy beaches the Mar Menor is an inland sea which means the water is always warmer, usually 5 degrees warmer than the Med, usually has no currents and no sharp drops making it perfect for children, plus there is so much of it, it is never packed.

The resort has an abundance of lush wide open spaces along with a stunning Club House with restaurants and bars and a well stocked supermarket. There are many children's parks dotted around the resort - the closest a 1 minute walk from the villa.

Everyone should make the time to go into Murcia itself, it is a beautiful historic city with stunning architecture and a grand Cathedral, there are many squares to discover with pavement cafes perfect for people watching, a main high street with shops and Corte Ingles, a large department store, and a maze of side streets full of interesting shops.

	Terra Natura Safari Park With more than 300 animals from 50 different species, three of which are in serious danger of extinction, plus over 500 examples of more than 50 species of trees, shrubs and ground cover plants from these regions. The park is very well laid out with a path that runs around the whole reserve. The animals are well kept and enjoying natural habitat. It is amazing to see the animals so close up, especially the lions and the bears who come right up to the window. As well as the hugely varied collection of wildlife, the educational information (through placards with biological details and information points), the architectural theming and the range of shows, entertainment and adventure activities make Terra Natura Murcia very popular for families Open all year round
	Aqua Natura The water park boasts 5 water chutes of varying levels of speed and height, a leisurely inner tube trip down a specially built ´river´, 2 vast pools, a refreshment area and a children´s area. It is the perfect, fun way to cool off after a day meeting the animals, watching the shows and learning about nature. Open in summer - June, July and August.
	Shopping Whether you are looking for a large out of town shopping centre or a traditional market, the region has it within easy reach. Since 2007, Murcia region has had the largest shopping centre in coastal Spain. Here you will find huge hypermarkets with superb baby sections so you really don't need to take any baby items with you, plus lots of restaurants, bars etc.
	Cartagena Cartagena (a 30 minute drive from the villa) is one of the most strategic ports in Spain and it boasts a Roman amphitheatre. It also has an aquarium plus boat rides around the port which take about 30 minutes - the perfect time to keep little ones entertained. You can have lunch on the ocean at a floating restaurant where the local lobster is amazing!
	Golf If your young ones are interested in trying out the game of golf the pro at the course will be happy to give them a lesson on the driving range. Realistically this is from 5 years and up. Alternatively if the parents want to play golf the children can ride along in the buggy or just watch from the swimming pool!
	Parks on the resort With 12 parks on the resort - the closest a 60 second walk away there is always a distraction from the pool close by should you need it!
	Murcia Murcia is a historic region with a rich cultural heritage. The city has some beautiful buildings and all the local towns have traditional weekly markets and lively fiestas. Great for restaurants or just people watching with a coffee / ice cream in one of the stunning squares.
	Outdoor Pursuits Walking, mountain biking and rock climbing are all popular activities in the local area. The Sierra Espuna is particularly renownd for biking and climbing and the 5,000 foot mountains provide a beautiful backdrop. The El Valle and Carroscoy Nature reserve provide a wealth of paths and tracks. It is these mountains which you will see from the terrace of the villa
	Water Sports The Costa Calida is well known for its water-sports and the Mar Menor is perfect for sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing and kayaking, whatever your level and age. The Mediterranean itself also offers idyllic venues for sailing and windsurfing and the diving in the region is some of the best in Spain.
	Tapas The perfect way to introduce young children to new tastes - Tapas is lots of different snack sized dishes which make up a meal. As in all restaurants the Spanish will make you and the children feel very welcome.
