Enjoy a wonderful spring break at this traditional 19th century child-friendly vineyard; with dinner and activities for the whole family. This award winning family-friendly vineyard is offering a special weekend package for families this spring.

Each cottage on the estate is fully equipped for families and is located within the estates wonderful 115 hectares of woods, vineyards, and olive groves with swimming pool, tennis courts, and more.

This family-friendly offer is for stays between now and the end of June 2012 and requires a minimum of two families.

Located in the Languedoc region in southern France this special family weekend break consists of:

• Accommodation in one of our cottages on the domain. We will reserve the cottages according to the number of people in each family on a first come first served basis
• A breakfast hamper filled with all your breakfast supplies (tea, coffee, chocolate, juice, milk, butter and jam) and fresh baguettes and croissants delivered to your door every morning!
• All your linens, towels and the cleaning at the end of your stay.
• Welcome drinks and dinner.
• A pack with detailed information about the weekend.
• A Treasure Hunt for the children around the domain
• A Fancy Dress Party
• A Cellar Visit and Wine Tasting
• A child friendly crêpe Party! 

• Arrive with time to settle into your cottage and soak up some Southern sun!
• Upon arrival you will receive your welcome pack with details about the weekend and special invitations for your children to join in all the fun activities we have in store for them: a treasure hunt, fancy dress party, crêpe making and more..
• Enjoy a welcome aperitif and an informal dinner hosted by Floris & Victoria.

• After a leisurely breakfast in your cottage send your kids will be off for a treasure hunt around the domain.
• An optional visit to a goat cheese farm – if you’re there at 4pm you can watch the milking of the goats.
• Tonight, a Fancy Dress Party for the children while parent’s tour the wine cellar and taste the range of Château Canet wines.

• Off to the colourful open air market in Carcassonne. You might opt for the 20 km bike ride to Carcassonne along the Canal de Midi.
• Wander up to the majestic medieval Cité de Carcassonne and decide on what best suits your mood for lunch; either pick up picnic supplies at the market or stop at one of the many bistros “en route!”
• This afternoon is the perfect opportunity for a barge trip down the Canal du Midi.
• Tonight choose where you wish to dine from a number of options within easy reach of the domain.

• A day to discover the stunning region of the Languedoc: the Cathar castles, picturesque villages, the caves of Cabrespine or even the beaches of the Mediterranean all within a half an hour drive away from the domain.
• Return for fun crêpe making party at the domain!

•  A final dip into the pool before heading home

Optional Activities Available

• Bike rentals – 50 € for 4 days. We have a number of different rides mapped out from the domain including a ride to our local bakery which kids really enjoy! There is a small fee if bike pickups are required.
• We can arrange for a horse/pony ride along the Canal de Midi.
• We can arrange for babysitting services (French/English speaker only) – 15 €/ hour
