The Mar Menor Golf Resort, Murcia, lots to do for the whole family staying in this two bedroom family-friendly villa

The Mar Menor Golf Resort is in the Murcia region in Spain, boasting over 325 days of sunshine a year. It is a fantastic place for a family holiday in Spain any time of year, and luckily for Holiday Tots families, property owner Jemma has a lovely two-bedroom family-friendly villa within the resort.

They have had a lovely summer at Mar Menor Golf resort, with the weather being glorious, an 18-hole golf course on the doorstep and activities happening throughout the week, there has been something for every family member.

This year throughout the popular summer months, the resort brought back ‘mini disco teeny bopper’, a fab mini disco three times a week for the little ones. There is also always lots of other entertainment throughout the summer months to keep the whole family entertained.

What is new to the resort it a junior crazy golf which seems to be getting great reviews and having a hit with the children, preparing them for the big golf course.

There are residential play areas, swimming pool and tennis courts within the resort. You can also find a supermarket, restaurant and snack bars, so you could make this a car free holiday if you really wanted to. However, the resort is in a fabulous location for exploring the beautiful Murcia region and local beaches are only a 10-minute drive away, and so a car is recommended.

Murcia airport is a 30-minute drive and Alicante airport is approximately 1 hour.

Jemma’s villa is a lovely home from home family villa is all arranged on one level with the front door opening into the open plan lounge and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary items, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms sleeping four and a cot, one of the rooms has an en-suite with bath and the other has use of a separate shower room. The private garden fully enclosed and mainly lawn.

They have 2 adult’s bikes and helmets guests are welcome to borrow, if you need a child seat or kiddie bikes there is a bike hire shop locally.

The villa and its location are really a fantastic place to visit in the summer months, even in spring or autumn if you prefer it not to be too hot. The villa can be rented out from only £450.00 a week with just an extra 80€ cleaning fee!
