A day in the life of Glynn Barton...

Glynn Barton is a fantastic family-friendly farm stay in Cornwall with eight award winning holiday cottages and fab facilities to keep the whole family entertained including an indoor heated swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, indoor soft play and a toddler ride on area full of ride on toys. There is animal feeding, egg collecting and you can even get yourself a little baker’s box to enjoy an evening baking in your cottage. If you fancy exploring, you can cycle at Cardinham Woods or head to Laneskin Woods for a stroll.

It’s an early start for those early risers in the family…
7:30am
Baker Tom delivers:
Yummy fresh bread and pastries delivered lovingly to the door by Max!
8:00am
Young Farmers Club:
The older children get to help with the mucking out and grooming of the donkeys
9:00am
Animal Feeding:
Hands on feeding of all our lovely animals by all our farmers- young and old. Everyone loves the donkeys Sweep & Sebastian for their cuddles, but the Alpaca’s Bert & Ernie are super soft too! Help collect the eggs from our chickens in all shapes and sizes to take home and cook up your favourite way.
10:00am
Imaginative play:
Start in the toddler ride on area to test your tractor driving skills or your balance on a scooter. There is also the pirate boat sandpit to steer.
11:00am
Family downtime:
Cosy up to a cup of tea in the play barn while the kids take on their friends at table football and Pucket. Grab a game of Lotto or Pictionary to have some family fun.
12:00pm
Lunchtime:
Select something scrumptious from our little shop which has been lovingly made by Angels in the Kitchen from Fowey followed by a tub of Treleavens gorgeous mint choc chip ice cream.
1:00pm
Mud fun:
Stretch those legs with a play on the giant fort or dabble in the mud kitchen to whip up your favourite mud pies! Don’t forget to see if you can make it to the middle of our Garden Maze.
2:00pm
Time for tennis:
Borrow our never-ending supply of rackets and balls to test out your Wimbledon skills.
3:00pm
More fun and an afternoon cuppa:
Settle down into Soft play for a breather or let the kids battle it out with table tennis. There is always the trampoline if they still have any bounce left in them.
4:00pm
Time for a dip:
Enjoy the warmth of our indoor heated pool to 32 degrees and outdoor hot tub.
5:00pm
Supper time:
Choose from a BBQ on the front lawn or the pizza oven up at the fort. Both are great family fun.
6:00pm
Movie time:
Borrow a movie from our DVD library for the whole family to watch or take an evening walk around to say good night to the animals.
7:00pm
Snuggle time:
Finally settle in with your feet up in front of a nice fire and relax in our livingly restored 18th century cottages.

Glynn Barton is set in 13 acres of amazing woodland with breath-taking views. It is a fantastic location to explore the coastline and Cornwall’s top attractions.
The animals are one of the main attractions here with their loving smiles and warm cuddles but the facilities are endless, with indoor swimming pool (including swimming lessons), indoor soft play, play barn, toddler ride on area, a maze to explore, giant outdoor fort and so much more!
