Bruern Cottages, A fabulous family-friendly retreat in the Cotswolds

Bruern is home to a cluster of luxury child-friendly holiday cottages located in four acres of stunning countryside in the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire.

There are twelve individual self-catering cottages ranging in sizes, all traditionally designed yet with modern features. Ranging in sizes for two adults plus baby, up to parties of 14 guests. Each cottage has a selection of books for all ages, cards and board games.

All cottages have access to the private gardens, flower meadows, indoor heated swimming pool, gym and even relaxing spa treatments.

First night of arrival, Bruern really do offer a lovely little treat, with essentials such as milk, butter, eggs and sausages, not forgetting a few luxuries such as champagne, homemade cakes and local artisan cheese.

Kids will LOVE the children’s paradise! – with three playgrounds to adventure out into, a Wendy house to act in and a play cabin for those wetter days when wanting to stay dry or even just a break from the sun. The play cabin is home to all sorts of fun games and toys. The older kids will LOVE the games room with its very own table football, pool table and ping-pong. There is even an Xbox, PS4 and a selection of DVD’s for a little down time.

There are several bikes on site guests can borrow for those looking to adventure out and explore the local area such as Bourton-on-the-Water. Wonderful fresh produce from the local farms and even some amazing restaurants, cafes and pubs right on the doorstep. The team at Bruern can even organise a babysitter for parents looking for a night off.

Bruern’s cottages are in a great location to explore the Cotswolds countryside, natural gardens, historic homes, museums and even some family-friendly local attractions. A favourite day out by many families staying here is Cotswolds Wildlife Park, which is only a 20 minute drive away.
