Our BeWILDerwood Highlights: A Perfect Norfolk Day Out with Kids
Posted by Sachelle, 19th August 2024 at 12:58If you're planning a Norfolk holiday with kids, BeWILDerwood is an absolute must for your itinerary. We wrapped up our family trip with a visit to this magical adventure park, and here are the highlights that made our day truly special.
1. Arrival and First Impressions
We arrived at BeWILDerwood around 10am, and the park’s cool, shaded environment was a welcome relief on a warm day. It felt like the perfect spot for a family day out with kids. With our map in hand, our young explorer Georgia eagerly planned our route through the park.
2. The Thrill of the Broken Bridge
Our adventure began at the Broken Bridge, a network of slides and bridges that kept the kids entertained for hours. The zip lines were a big hit, offering thrills for both older and younger children.
3. Family Break at the Munch Bar
When it was time to refuel, we headed to the Munch Bar for snacks and coffee. This area is family-friendly, with amenities like toilets, a nursing nook, benches, and a play area for toddlers. Georgia loved making her own headband at the Big Hat craft area.
4. Storytelling and the Sky Maze
We then enjoyed a captivating story show that kept everyone entertained, followed by the Sky Maze—a fun challenge that we all conquered together.
5. Mildred the Crocklebog and the Scary Lake
No visit to BeWILDerwood would be complete without a boat ride on the 'Scary Lake' to meet the famous Mildred the Crocklebog, a highlight for our little ones.
6. Souvenirs at the Bizarre Bazaar
Before heading home, we made a final stop at the Bizarre Bazaar, picking up some unique souvenirs to remember our day out.
