Family Day Out in Essex: Magical Miniature Train Ride for Babies, Toddlers, and Kids
Posted by Sachelle, 12th November 2024 at 10:27Last month, we were invited to experience one of Audley End’s most enchanting attractions—the miniature train ride! It was a wonderful day filled with family-friendly activities, and our group, including four children of varying ages, had a fantastic time.
Our Audley End Railway Adventure...
Upon entry, we received a map of the activities, and with around 30 minutes before our scheduled train departure, we had time to grab a coffee and hot chocolate, take the kids to the loo, and visit the potion-making station. The miniature train, designed with families in mind, was an absolute hit, accommodating babies, toddlers, and older kids too.
We set off on a sunny but chilly day, and the grounds were beautifully decorated for Halloween, creating a fun and spooky atmosphere. The kids kept their eyes peeled for special things they needed to spot for a sticker at the end of the ride. The highlight was the interactive Halloween show, which had everyone laughing—and the cute teddy bears given to the little ones were a lovely surprise!
After the train ride, the fun continued with more activities. The kids enjoyed creating potion pouches, and there was a large play area where they could let off some steam. We also indulged in some tasty treats from the food stalls, which offered a variety of goodies and hot drinks.
To round off the day, we all enjoyed a magic show that kept the kids entertained and excited.
