1. Clovelly Christmas Lights Switch-On
Visit Clovelly’s charming cobbled streets for a magical Christmas lights switch-on event. Starting at 4 pm, a local brass band leads a procession down to the harbour, with festive carols sung along the way. Enjoy a hog roast, hot dogs, and Christmas grog at the Harbour and Lifeboat Station while waiting for Father Christmas to make a surprise visit. After a carol service led by a local vicar and choir, the village and harbour will be lit up in dazzling Christmas lights, followed by a grand fireworks finale. A beautiful event for alll ages.

2. The Big Sheep Christmas Toddler Takeover
The Big Sheep is a beloved North Devon family attraction with plenty of toddler-friendly activities year-round. This December, they are hosting a Christmas event specifically designed for toddlers and babies. Expect multi-sensory Christmas-themed workshops, a winter wonderland woodland walk, festive tunes, craft sessions, and a special present for each child from Father Christmas himself!

3. The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway - Christmas Special
All aboard the festive steam train at Woody Bay Station! This special Christmas ride includes a visit from Father Christmas, who will give each child a present and sticker. The carriages are beautifully decorated for the season, and your little ones can enjoy a Christmas activity sheet and post their letters to Santa in his workshop post box. It’s a delightful way to celebrate the holidays with toddlers.

4. The Milky Way Adventure Park - The Magic of Christmas
The Milky Way Adventure Park is a popular family destination in North Devon. This December, take a journey through their snowy forest and meet Father Christmas in his cosy Christmas cottage! There are also all-weather rides and attractions for the whole family to enjoy.
