Who stays here
During the school summer holiday season this family-friendly château is full of families with children aged 4 to 14 and outside of the school holiday periods it is exclusively for families with pre-school children.
The owners take great pride in their beautiful château and they specialise in baby-friendly holidays too. This is a fabulous holiday location for all the family and especially if it is your first holiday with baby or toddler in tow. There is just about everything you could possibly need to make your holiday a pleasurable one. From bath toys to safety gates, changing mats to steriliser you really will not want for anything.

Toddlers and young children will soon relax and get into the swing of it here. There are lots of friendly animals, sheep, goats and guinea pigs, a play barn with table tennis, table football, books and DVDs etc, plus a ‘Tots Zone’ with toys galore. The owners can arrange home-cooked meals, babysitting, maid service, bread delivery, relaxation treatments and wine tastings.
The main swimming pool is heated and enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and is fully enclosed. There is also a separate children’s paddling pool for the little ones.
Within the enclosed grounds there is a huge sandpit, wooden climbing frame, trampoline, swings, slide, football pitch, boules and giant Jenga.
If you can manage to drag the children away there is so much to see and do in the area for the whole family to enjoy. There may not be sea beaches but there are some fabulous inland family-friendly beaches. Aubeterre has a lovely river beach with grassed play area, café and restaurant and canoe hire, there is also a river beach at St Aulaye with the addition of water slides.
