Overview - Le Clos Sainte Marie - Lampy
This gite, nestled in extensive grounds with fig and walnut trees amongst fields of poppies and sunflowers has been restored to a very high standard.
It has three double bedrooms with the master having ensuite facilities and a further family bathroom. There are two sofa beds and so can accommodate up to 8 guests. Within the grounds there is an enclosed 6 x 12 swimming pool (heated to 24 degrees May-September) and the front garden, which has the pool, is enclosed by fences or natural barriers and so is ideal for families with toddlers and young children.
There are four child-friendly holiday cottages each one having its own private terrace, there is also a large communal terrace with tables for each property and a seating area with sofas in the shade by the barbeques. The approach to these properties is via a pretty private drive lined with trees.
At Le Clos Sainte Marie there are also a further 6 hectares of woods and meadows ideal for walks and picnics.The owners, who live within the grounds, have small children and so understand that there are special requirements for families. There is a selection of toys, adoption can be arranged if your little one takes a particular liking to one! There are also a couple of paddling pools of varying sizes. A local baker visits each morning, who as well as bread, has a selection of groceries.
