This child friendly holiday cottage is one of five within award winning gardens and offers a relaxing break any time of the year. There are 15 acres of grounds to explore: gardens, woods wildflower meadow and two fishing lakes (guests can fish in these lakes for wild coarse fish). Each cottage has its own enclosed garden/patio area.
This small complex of holiday cottages is located half a mile from the main road and so there is no passing traffic. For the little ones there is a children’s play area with fort, climbing walls, swings slide and sandpit, there is also a gated secret garden with magical play house and outdoor toys.
From May to September the swimming pool is open and heated. It is fully enclosed and is 11 meters long and 2meters deep. There is also a children’s smaller splash pool. For active dry fun there is a boules court and a sports field with football and badminton. The woods offer a den making area and weekly bush craft activity for children aged 4 and over.
This cosy gîte was once the cider store for the farm and has original exposed beams. The ground floor has a lounge area with flat screen satellite tv and DVD player and door out into the secure garden. The mezzanine bedroom has a double bed and a cot or z-bed is available making it ideal for children up to 8 years old . Bed linen is provided. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and wc.
The recently fitted kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas hob, fitted oven, microwave and fridge.
Outside the west facing garden has sun into the evening and lake views towards woods and fields The patio has quality outdoor dining furniture, sun loungers and a charcoal BBQ .
This gite is popular with small families and also for grandparents where three generations wish to holiday together whilst retaining their independence.
