Overview - Property ref APCA
This special and unusual property is one of two and ideal for a couple and a baby. It has its own private sunny courtyard, hidden in the flower gardens of a grand Georgian Grade II Listed house on the Quay overlooking the historic port of Charlestown.
There is an abundance of baby/toddler items available including: Cot, socket covers, baby monitor (Tomy Walkabout Digital), high chair, changing mat, steriliser, Bumbo with tray, hand held food whizzer, Mclaren buggy and more...
Built in the late 1700’s, the port of Charlestown is largely unchanged and is now home to 3 tall ships, Phoenix, Kaskelot and Earl of Pembroke. The beaches, either side of the Quay, are so close a toddler can make it. It is an easy stroll over the Quay’s lock gate to the Hotel for a crab sarnie on their terrace or you might like to stay at home in the lovingly planted, south facing Flower Garden.
Charlestown is approximately 10 minutes from both the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan and is also ideally situated for visiting other family-friendly attractions in Cornwall.
Here you can enjoy the best of the weather whilst being protected from the worst, in total privacy.
The king size cabin bed is dressed with Egyptian cotton sheets and the bedroom has both style and comfort. There is a hair dryer, a clock, a blanket and a sewing kit in the chest of drawers.
The adjoining wet room has a wonderfully powerful shower, basin and most importantly, a loo with a view!
The open plan sitting room/kitchen is designed for comfort with a large squishy sofa, a digital television with built in DVD, an ipod dock and WiFi. All the kitchen appliances would expect to find are there, a ceramic hob, an electric oven, a fridge, a microwave and a dishwasher. You’ll find everything else you might need in the cupboards. The washing machine, tumble dryer, overhead airier, utility belfast sink, iron and ironing board are to the rear in the wash house.
