Overview - LLG
This lovely detached former Granary is ideally located for exploring West Sussex however all amenities are within a short walk and so it would be possible to stay without a car. The beautiful river Adur is only 20 minutes walk, keen cyclists could ride along the disused railway to the beach (about 45 minutes) and the South Downs are within walking distance. For drivers there is parking for 2 cars.
Steyning is a bustling little town with a monthly farmers market and has everything you need: butchers including the very popular Garlic wood farm, bakers, green grocer – award winning Sussex Produce company, restaurants, pubs, cafés and tearooms & many individual shops.
The owners live just five minutes away at their Bakehouse and cottages (also listed on Holiday Tots). All guests at the Granary are invited to use the swimming pool along with the other guests (mid May-Sept) and see the rabbits and chickens! Guests will have their own entrance key and can come and go as they please. There are also pre-bookable baking and pizza workshops and Neals yard therapist available for treatments at the Granary or the Bakehouse.
The owners Tea barn is open at certain times throughout the year and guests can enjoy lunch, afternoon tea or pick up something for supper – all home made and baked on the premises. Current opening times are: Winter: 20th Jan – 12th Feb, Spring: April 21st – May 14th, Summer: June 16th – July 9th and then Autumn: 8th Sept – Oct 1st. Both the tea room and swimming pool are only a short 5 minute drive away at their other properties and are well worth a visit!
