These family-friendly farm cottages are a perfect place for families with babies, toddlers and young children looking for a holiday in Cornwall. It is the perfect place to unwind, make new friends, feed the animals, play, explore and have lots of fun!
Within Tredethick farm there is an abundance of activities to keep your toddler occupied: the heated swimming pool exclusively for guests from 7am - 10pm, an outdoor play park, giant trampoline and purpose built farm themed balance bike track, a play barn, an indoor soft play area (with views of sweeping farmland, comfy sofas, complimentary posh coffee or hot chocolate and weekend newspapers). There is a woodland playscape along the farm trail which includes a maze, stepping stones, a log bridge, climbing frame, a swing, balance rope and beams all set in a private woodland.
If your little one is fond of animals, they will be over the moon when they get the chance to feed the animals (three times a week); from bottle feeding lambs in the spring to hand feeding goats, herding the piglets and collecting freshly laid eggs from their resident chickens. The children can also enjoy a short pony ride on one of our friendly ponies (Twice weekly).
For you parents, tucked away behind the swimming pool is an arched wooden doorway that leads to the hot tub garden, the perfect place to relax, unwind or plunge in as a family!
The farm shop is stocked with delicious ready-made COOK meals and lovely local treats such as fudge, ice cream, local milk, butter and cheese, ciders and biscuits.
There is a farm trail which takes you through the woods and across fields to the riverside hamlet of St. Winnow. Children can collect a scavenger bag to keep them occupied on the nature trail.
The price of the holiday includes all facilities, activities (exc Pony Poppets or swim lessons) and logs for your cottage log burner.

Sustainability: They harness and grow miscanthus on the farm which heats the cottages and pool. All energy used is from renewable sources. They run a Countryside Stewardship programme on the farm with winter bird cover, non-chemical field management and hedgerow managed to encourage wildlife such as dormice.
