Overview - Tredethick Farm Cottages - Dairy
This family-friendly farm is perfect for families with babies, toddlers and young children looking for a holiday in Cornwall. It is a place to unwind, feed animals, make new friends, play, explore and have lots of fun!
Within the farm there is an abundance of activities to keep even the most active toddler occupied: the heated swimming pool, the indoor soft play area (includes complimentary weekend newspapers, posh coffee or hot chocolate), an outdoor play park, farm themed balance bike track as well as a play barn. New to Tredethick is their woodland playscape along the farm trail - it includes a maze, stepping stones and a log bridge, a climbing frame, a swing and balance ropes and beams, all set in our private woodland.
If your little ones are fond of animals they will squeal with delight when they get the chance to feed the animals three a week. From bottle feeding lambs in the spring to herding piglets to hand feeding goats and collecting freshly laid eggs from their pure-breed heritage hens. Twice weekly pony rides are a big hit with the kids too.
For parents, tucked away behind the swimming pool is an arched wooden doorway that leads to the hot tub garden, a place to relax and unwind or plunge in as a family!
Other activities include: the farm shop with its delicious ready-made COOK meals and lovely local treats like ice cream, fudge, milk, cheese, ciders and biscuits. The farm trail which takes you through the woods and across fields to the riverside hamlet of St. Winnow. Children can collect a scavenger bag to keep them occupied on the nature trail.
