Overview - Property ref Tredethick Farm Cottages - Wagonhouse
A family-friendly farm that is perfect for families with young children, toddlers and babies looking for a holiday in Cornwall. A lovely place to unwind, make new feeds, feed animals, play, explore and have lots of fun!
Within the farm there is an abundance of fun activities to keep even the little ones entertained: the swimming pool (always heated to 30 degrees), an outdoor play park, giant trampoline and purpose-built balance bike track and a play barn with giant sandpit. There is also an indoor soft play area (with views of sweeping farmland, complimentary freshly ground coffee, daily newspapers and comfy sofas).
If your little ones are animal lovers, then they will squeal with excitement when they get the chance to feed the animals every morning. They can bottle feed the lambs or even hand feed the goats. Herd the little piglets and help collect the freshly laid eggs from the resident chickens. Children can also enjoy a short pony ride on one of the gentle ponies, twice a week.
For the adults, they have tucked away behind the swimming pool is an arched wooden doorway that leads to the hot tub garden, a great place to unwind, relax or plunge in as a family.
The small farm shop is a must visit, with its delicious ready-made COOK meals and lovely local treats such as cider, biscuits, fudge and ice cream. You can also grab a farm trail that will lead you through some woods, across the fields to the riverside hamlet of St. Winnow. Collect a scavenger bag for the children to keep them occupied on the nature walk.
