Overview - Tredethick Farm Cottages - Scantlebury
Tredethick is a family-friendly farm that is perfect for families with babies, toddlers and young children looking for a holiday in Cornwall. It is a place to make new friends, feed animals, explore, play and have lots of fun together.
There are lot of activities for the little ones to enjoy to keep them entertained: a play barn, a heated swimming pool (always around 30 degrees), the indoor soft play area (complimentary posh coffee or hot chocolate and weekend newspapers), an outdoor play park, giant trampoline and purpose built balance balance bike track. There is also a woodland playscape along the farm trail which includes a maze, stepping stones and a log bridge, a climbing frame, a swing and balance ropes and beams, all set in their private woodland.
If your little ones are fond of animals they will love that they get the chance to feed the animals three times a week. From hand feeding the goats to bottle feeding the lambs, to herding the little piglets and collecting freshly laid eggs. Tiwce weekly pony rides are included and are a big hit !
If you are looking to relax and unwind, tucked away behind the swimming pool is an arched wooden doorway that leads to the hot tub garden.
There is a farm trail which leads you through the woods and across fields to the riverside hamlet of St. Winnow. The little ones can collect a scavenger bag to make nature trail walk even more exciting.
At the farm shop you can find delicious ready-made COOK meals and local treats such as milk, cheese, butter, ice creams, fudge and biscuits.
All energy that is used on the farm is from renewable sources. Organically-gardened gardens. A Countryside Stewardship programme is run on the farm with winter bird cover, non-chemical field management and hedgerow managed to encourage wildlife such as dormice
The price of the holiday includes all facilities, activities (exc Pony Poppets or swim lessons) and logs for your cottage log burner.
