There are two child-friendly holiday cottages at Gites and Antiques, each with three bedrooms. The gardens are fully enclosed and are safe for toddlers and children of all ages with swings, sandpit, trampoline and an enclosed heated swimming pool with roman steps. There are fruit trees for shade and children of all ages are welcome. Older children might like the badminton, boules or just a game of football, there is plenty of room!
Located in the Charente Maritime region of South West France within walking distance of the local restaurant and bar it is a perfect location for a family-friendly holiday.
Owners Sue and Simon have children of their own and so understand the needs of families with young children on holiday.

Le Cognassier
The kitchen has hand-painted units and high quality appliances including, fridge freezer (where you will find a chilled bottle of Champagne!), dishwasher, microwave etc the dining area is open plan and has seating for six. The sitting room is comfortable with TV (English channels) and DVD player, iPod dock and free Wi-fi. There are numerous books and toys for children of all ages.
The three bedrooms offer a double, twin and king and can accommodate two cots. There is a large family bathroom upstairs and downstairs a shower room with WC. The bedrooms overlook the gardens, pool and neighbouring fields.
The dining room overlooks the private garden which leads onto the main garden it is filled with delicate pink roses, clematis and grapevines, there is even a secret door (but safe) leading into the fields.
