Overview - FWA
This is a fantastic spot for a relaxing family holiday. Going back to nature yet not compromising on all those home from home luxuries. You will spend your days playing in the woods and the nights staring at the amazing dark sky and star gazing round the campfire.
The site is in a quiet location away from any busy roads so the kids can really run free and enjoy their surroundings. With Camarthen Bay and the Cardigan Bay coastlines within half an hour’s drive, you can have a great day out paddling and enjoying the sandy beaches before returning for an awesome campfire and BBQ.
There are 5 different nomadic glamping experiences and central to these 5 structures is a communal log cabin with cooking range, cooking utensils and equipment as well as books and local information so you can make the most of your stay. There is also a power supply to charge your phones and devices. The cool boxes are there for you to borrow with ice packs replenished daily for you.
The grounds are amazing – they include a 7 ring labyrinth with central totem pole, numerous wood carvings and woodland play area. A real treat to explore and check out the amazing natural art. The kids will love discovering the different features of the site.
You will have access to hot showers and a flushable and compost toilet. As this site is totally green and sustainable there is no mains supply but wind generators and solar panels for electricity. You don’t need to bring much with you either as all the usual items are here already so if you would like to do your bit for the environment too and use public transport, the owners will collect you from the train station in Camarthen free of charge and also take you to the local shops to get your food essentials for the stay! You can hire bikes locally to explore so there isn’t a massive need for the car.
If you would like a few relaxing treatments during your stay there are healing and massage options which can take place in your accommodation if you wish or the nearby wellness centre. Try an energy massage to restore your body’s vitality, harmony and balance- what a perfect place to do it!
