Overview - Manoir de Longeveau, La Loge
This large cottage is ideal for 2 families holidaying together. It is situated in a valley designated by the Michelin guide as a ‘place of special beauty’ with the town of Aubeterre a short bike ride away, (listed as one of the prettiest villages in France) you can be sure of some beautiful countryside and amazing sights.
On the former Cognac estate you will find numerous facilities to ensure your stay is as relaxing as possible, a golf course, 3 tennis courts, a beauty salon, swimming pools and clubhouse. And they haven’t forgotten the kids here, in fact kids are a big priority – with a sports barn, 2 play areas, crèche and baby/toddler packs you will have a comfortable stay where the whole family can really have a great holiday.
There is plenty to keep the kids entertained throughout your stay. They can enjoy the swimming pools (including a children’s splash pool) and the sports barn which can be used for a variety of activities but also hosts a compact tennis court and basketball hoops. There are 2 play areas with climbing frames, swings and a large sandpit. As well as the secret play house, dressing up box, boules and table tennis. The older kids will also enjoy the safe environment to make new friends and enjoy their surroundings. They will no doubt love the BBQ nights and outdoor cinema viewings too.
The on-site crèche is available from May to early October and is for children aged 0-7 years. It is run by fully qualified staff and gives yourselves (and the kids) a break away.
Not forgetting the adults – you will love the clubhouse. Great views across the estate and a lovely relaxed atmosphere with good food and drink. Enjoy the early morning coffee on the terrace and the bite to eat late afternoon whilst watching the kids play in the toddler play area next to the bar. A glass of wine in the evening whilst socialising with new friends.
The owners are very keen to make sure that you have a comfortable stay and have a range of baby/toddler equipment in your cottage. If you would like anything extra such as a pushchair, baby bouncer or toddler steps etc… you may wish to rent for a small fee one of their baby/toddler packs. Just enquire when booking so you have exactly what you need for your stay.

This lovely cottage sits on the classical French courtyard in front of the Manoir and was once used as the groom’s quarters.
Ground floor
Double aspect lounge opens onto a kitchen and dining area and there is a double bedroom leading from the lounge area with en-suite shower room/WC
First floor
There is a split level double bedroom with en-suite shower room and W/C
The two twin rooms share the separate bathroom with bath and shower.
Double doors from the lounge lead out to the terrace and BBQ area at the front of the cottage. There are plenty of sun loungers.
