Overview - Lantern and Larks - Exton Park
This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with all your luxuries from home. Your own bathroom, comfortable beds, soft furnishings, well equipped kitchen and sofas on the terrace. It really is the best of both worlds.
These family friendly ‘tents’ are located in a large rural estate in Rutland, a small historic county an hour from Nottingham and Cambridge. The extensive grounds are worth exploring, with a fort on the edge of a private lake and amazing views throughout the 14 miles of footpaths. Rutland Water is 3 miles south of the estate and is one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe, home to some amazing wildlife which can be accessed on foot or bike, with plenty of cycle paths for you to enjoy.
If you would like to explore further afield, Nottingham and Cambridge are within an hour and host a wide range of activities for the whole family from shopping to visiting historical places of interest, galleries, and punting!
Back at your tent, there is enough room for 6 people to sleep, (in low season the price is reduced by 15% for a family of 4 or less.) It is fully equipped for a very comfortable stay to include mattresses and duvets for a great nights sleep and a bathroom with separate WC – no more trekking across a dark field in the middle of the night. All this and you still get to wake up to bird song and those amazing countryside views. So enjoy your evenings under the stars by the fire and your days relaxing or exploring, the choice is yours!
