Overview - LHNP
This luxury hotel has everything a family could want including: a crèche / kids club for babies, toddlers and young children up to eight years old with two free hours per day. For older children there is the Blue Room with table football, video games and traditional board games. Within the hotel grounds you will find activities for the most active of children from tree climbing to croquet on the lawn. The two swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor) are ideal for a daily splash of fun and the family-friendly spa has an exceptional choice of massages, with 2 hot tubs overlooking the New Forest as well as one of only 4 Somadomes in the UK.
Dining is a pleasure and you can choose from dining with the children or letting them enjoy an early dinner at 5pm and then settling down to an evening meal when they are tucked up in bed, taking advantage of the complimentary baby listening service.
All food prepared uses the finest local ingredients where possible so chomp on wild mushrooms from the local woods or feast on fish freshly caught from the nearby coast and enjoy locally grown vegetables and herbs from the hotel gardens.
Located in the centre of the New Forest there is plenty to do outside the hotel grounds. The New Forest is home to wild ponies, free-roaming deer and lots of other wildlife. It is particularly popular for cycling and walking with a network of great fairly flat trails to explore, perfect for family rambles.
Most families are happy to explore the New Forest but if you are looking for adventure further afield there is plenty to be had, see our Top 10 for some inspiration.
