This toddler friendly holiday cottage is in a great location, in the heart of the Dordogne. With so much to see and do within 30 minutes you are spoilt for choice with activities. Visit chateaux, a trip to the aquarium, or experience the caves and prehistoric theme park. Your hosts have lots of information for you to help you decide on activities and days out suitable for your family. After a busy day exploring you will enjoy coming ‘home’ to the cottage.
Grapevine cottage shares the grounds with one other cottage and five B&B rooms, three of which are family rooms. Set in a rural hamlet 1.5km from the nearest village offering a beautiful base to relax and unwind on your family holiday. Although you are in the heart of the tourist area, this cluster is peaceful, safe and full of playmates for your little ones too. After a busy day of activities such as canoeing, treetop climbing or cycling is done, there is still plenty of entertainment for the children including the enclosed swimming pool, football, animals, free bikes, table tennis and indoor playroom with toys and books.
Breakfast is offered daily for an optional cost and your hosts also run an onsite cooking school in which they run multiple courses with lunch included for both adults and families alike, showcasing the regional and seasonal ingredients of the gorgeous Dordogne region of France.
Sara and her family have been running this lovely holiday hamlet for 15 years, seeing their own toddlers grow along the way.

This 2 bed property has an annexe which is connected by a terrace area so it’s the perfect place for a second family or grandparents who would like a bit of privacy whilst holidaying together.
There are 2 bedrooms in the main cottage, a double and a twin. There is also a shower room. The living area has an open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen. The main cottage also has a summer kitchen Outside on the terrace is an outside kitchen with second fridge and dishwasher, sink, grill and two ring gas hob. Outside furniture and sun loungers are also provided.
The annexe has a double room and shower room.
The children’s play area is at the bottom of the garden and you can see this from the terrace to give you peace of mind.
