Overview - Quinta das Achadas
Owners Jill and Julio invite you to their beautiful 19th century rustic farmhouse for your next family holiday in the Algarve. It has been lovingly restored to a high standard into child-friendly holiday apartments. Surrounded by sub-tropical gardens this micro resort is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Its location is perfect for families looking for an authentic holiday in the Algarve yet within a short drive to amenities and attractions in the area.
There are two types of accommodation here at the Quinta das Achadas, consisting of 3x self-catering apartments and 2 rooms without catering facilities. The owners also live within the grounds and offer a varied catered option for everyone who stays here. Fully cooked breakfast, meal delivery service, communal meals etc. Maid service and breakfast is fully included, and babysitting is also available.
Within the grounds there is a shared heated salt water swimming pool (please note that the barrier to the pool is formed from plants and so unattended inquisitive youngsters could make their way through). There is a playroom, playground and large field for a game of football etc. Table football, table tennis, ride on toys, sand pit, toddler slide etc make it perfect for families with children of all ages.
The historic town of Lagos is located a short drive away as are the southern sandy beaches of the Algarve.
Guests regularly comment on how relaxing a family holiday is here especially with the various meal arrangements on offer including joining the owners in their open plan country kitchen two nights a week. There is also a home cooked breakfast service where you can enjoy fresh produce on your own private terrace surrounded by fig trees.
