Overview - Quinta das Achadas
This beautiful 19th century farmhouse has been converted into a family-friendly resort consisting of three self-catering apartments and two rooms offering a variety of catering options. Owners Jill and Julio live onsite and can offer cooked breakfast, meal delivery service, communal meal options etc. Maid service is included in your stay. Fancy a night out there is also the option of babysitting available.
Located a short drive from the historic town of Lagos and the child-friendly beaches of the southern Algarve, Quinta das Achadas is the perfect place to unwind and relax yet close enough to venture out and enjoy the area. The setup of this small intimate resort lends itself to families wanting to spend time away together with grandparents and/or friends. For example, a couple and two children could stay in the self-catering apartment and the grandparents in one of the rooms. Ideal!
The swimming pool is heated and has salt water (the pool has a natural barrier for fencing, but an inquisitive toddler would get through). The gardens are lovely and there is a large field perfect for a game of football. There is a playground, play room, table football, table tennis, ride on toys, sand pit, toddler slide. Children and adults of all ages will have something to do here. If you need to touch base with home, there is also free Wifi.
