Overview - New Forest Escapes - Eat me Drink me Cottage
Dressing up and having a bit of fun is an essential part of holidaying here, if you are looking for order then you might need to look elsewhere, if you’re looking for an adventure and a Beckstein piano to play then this is for you! This is a charming family-friendly holiday home whose owners have an enthusiasm for quirky vintage and colour. They live here with their four children and for a few weeks of the year, when they are not in residence, they open their fun filled home to families looking for something a little different.
Eat me Drink me Cottage has a lot of stuff for kids! Dolls, prams, kitchen toys, wooden football net, Lego, Barbie dolls, several dolls houses, swords and a well-stocked dressing up box – kids can become whoever they want here: lizards, princesses, pigs, pirates etc. The garden is home to an Olympic sized trampoline with cage, ride on plastic toys, rope tree swing and adventurous kids can camp in the garden. For some down time, there is Wi-Fi and TV BT package with full kids channels including Disney and Netflix.
The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of kit for cooking, messy baking sessions and parties. There are wooden high chairs (bit rickety but functional), a mini rocking horse, bouncy chair, door bouncer etc.
Further afield take a stroll or cycle 1km to the nearest beach for the day, the lane is quiet with very few cars and suitable for kids to cycle down, there are often wild ponies and cows wandering around too.
