Overview - Lyon Court
Lyon Court is a wonderful country house that has been beautifully converted offering a choice of family friendly holiday accommodation to suit all family sizes. With four child-friendly holiday apartments to choose from and lovely facilities for all the family to enjoy it has something for everyone.
Within the landscaped gardens there is a heated enclosed outdoor swimming pool open from the last May bank holiday through to the end of September. The gardens themselves are fully enclosed and ideal for children to have a good run and play while you stoke up the BBQ. The kids will love the playhouse and playset and maybe roasting some marshmallows on the fire pit.
There is onsite parking for guests (up to two cars per apartment and one car for the one bedroom apartment). If you require additional parking this may be possible on request
Out and about: it’s just a 10 minute walk to the old village of Shanklin in one direction and the new town in another. Less than a mile away is the 2019 Sunshine Award winning Small Hope Beach, a family friendly beach with a small naturally formed shallow pool at low tide, ideal for little ones. There are other beaches too and lots of options for family days out for all ages: from cycling the Red Squirrel Trail to a fun filled theme park aimed at younger children and more. If you fancy a night out without the kids, the owners can also arrange babysitting by DBS checked babysitters.
The Garden Apartment
This is the largest of the four apartments; it has four bedrooms and is ideal for 8 plus up to 1 baby/toddler in cot – 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
This child-friendly holiday home has been refurbished to a very high standard and takes up the whole floor at garden level. It is bright and airy and has underfloor heating outside of the Summer.
The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area has a large table and seating for all. The French doors open to a south-facing terrace with views of the gardens and pool.
The lounge area is equipped with a smart TV and comfy sofas when it is time to chill out

The Old Stable
This is the smallest of the holiday apartments here. It is ideal for a couple and baby in cot, or possibly grandparents wanting their own space! It has its own BBQ and south facing patio.
This is a studio apartment with fully fitted kitchen and living area with comfy sofa, plus double bed.
