Overview - Asheston Eco Barns
Asheston Eco Barns sit within their own 22 acres of private grounds in the unspoilt heart of Pembrokeshire, Wales. Located just four miles from the Blue Flag sandy beach of Newgale Sands they offer a fantastic base for a child-friendly holiday.
There are five luxury cottages to choose from, sleeping 4 to 7 guests, and a total of 29 across all cottages, so perfect for a large family holiday or a couple looking to escape for a few days.
Owners Jeff and Karen moved here when their oldest son was just 6 weeks old, he is now 13 and they have a daughter who is 7. They are always on hand should you need anything and because the Eco Barns are family run and family friendly, cots, highchairs, stairgates etc are standard. There is a playground and lots of games and puzzles for children of all ages and baby baths, monitors and bottle warmers available too.
Within the 22 acres you will find a playground, extensive lawns, fenced wildlife pond and acres of fields and woodland to enjoy. If you feel like heading out a little further there is plenty to do for the whole family close by.
Pembrokeshire’s National Park coastline is just 3 miles from the eco-barns, famed for its natural beauty and amazing wildlife of seabirds to dolphins. There are lots of sandy beaches within easy reach too including Newgale Sands, a Blue Flag beach. There really is plenty to do in this part of Wales you just won’t have enough time! Green energy. Asheston Eco Barns generate 85% of their own energy using cutting-edge onsite renewable energy technologies. Ground source heat pumps and solar hot water systems supply piping hot water and underfloor heating to the barns. Rain water is used for toilet flushing, garden watering etc and more.
