North Hayne Farm is an award-winning farm-stay located in Exmoor close to family friendly attractions and award-winning beaches as well as market towns and is located just five miles from Exmoor National Park. Set in 10 acres of rolling pastureland in the heart of the valley of river Yeo, each cottage has been tastefully converted into characterful child-friendly holiday homes all with private gardens and hot tubs, sleeping between two and ten people. There are eight self-catering holiday cottages that can be booked individually or together for up to 45 guests plus ten cots.

The farm itself has enough to keep even the liveliest member of the family out of mischief! It is also suitable for children with additional needs, including those with autism.

There is a well-equipped play barn for the under 7’s and a games room for all ages. There are lots of outdoor play areas too, activity trails, a den building area, tractor park, swings, slides, sand pit etc and during the holidays the owners offer guided bat walks and farm clubs. Throughout the year on the farm, children and those young at heart, can help feed the animals daily, groom the goats, collect eggs from the resident rescued ex battery hens, and after all the animals have been fed enjoy a donkey ride on Costello. Older children can take Flapjack and Porridge for a walk, resident goats who are always keen! There are plenty of other animals on the farm who need to be looked after, ducks, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, Cocoa and Latte, the Alpacas, and Wilbur and Truffle the little pigs and more! Life is never dull on North Hayne Farm.

Grown-ups are not forgotten here either, unwind in your own private hot tub and enjoy the wonderful dark sky (on a clear night the stars are amazing, so much so that International Dark Sky Reserve status was given to Exmoor) or have a pamper session from one their holistic therapists. Open all year round, North Hayne Farm Cottages is perfect for a family holiday in Exmoor any time of year, from short pamper breaks to summer holidays or Christmas getaways.

Tom kitten
Single story mid terraced perfect for very young children or those needing easy walking access. Private hot tub, sleeps four, plus cot

Jemima Puddleduck
Three story cottage three beds, sleeps six plus cot (can be rented with Mrs Tiggywinkle next door to accommodate up to 11 guests) Private enclosed decking area with large private hot tub

Mrs Tiggywinkle
Three stories with three bedrooms for a family of five plus cot. Enclosed decking and private large hot tub.

Samuel Whiskers
A spacious three storey cottage, formerly the old coach house with three bedrooms ideal for six guests plus a cot. With log burner and enclosed garden with private hot tub.

Peter Rabbit
This lovely two bed cottage is perfect for a family of four. Spread over two floors it has a mid-terrace enclosed garden with hot tub which leads onto the shared gardens and play equipment.

Squirrel Nutkin
This spacious cottage is set over two levels with all bedrooms on the ground floor. There are three bedrooms and it is ideal for six guests +2 plus cot. Private enclosed garden and large hot tub.

Jeremy Fisher
A fabulous cottage perfect for large families or two families sharing, five bedrooms sleeps 10 plus cot. The accommodation is set over two floors with two bedrooms with wet rooms on the ground floor and a spacious layout, so ideal for guests with limited mobility. The three further bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the first floor. Large French doors open onto the private patio garden which is enclosed and has a six-seater private hot tub.
