All of the farm-stays on Holiday Tots are in great locations to explore further afield too, from Cornwall to Inverness and a few places in between, offering a fab choice for your next family holiday. There is something for every taste and budget too, from five star luxury with meal delivery services, hot tubs, spas to more rustic offerings. The one thing that they all share in common is a big family-friendly welcome. All are owned and managed by families who really care about their animals and their guests, offering the perfect holiday with children any time of the year.
Every holiday cottage is perfect for families with children of all ages, from baby’s first holiday in a cosy one bedroom cottage to a huge gathering with babies, toddlers, parents, friends and grandparents too. Every cottage has facilities suitable for young kids, from stairgates to high chairs, cots and more. Ride-on toys are always a firm favourite too, which is why you will find plenty to play on, this farm-stay even has its very own purpose built ride-on track!
One of our first holidays with Freddie when he was small was a little farm near Bude in Cornwall. He loved the tractor rides with farmer Ted feeding the animals every morning. The grounds were perfect for kids to let off steam and the log burner perfect for cosying up at the end of day. We as a family really enjoy the great outdoors and if you can throw some animals into the mix we are even happier.
If you are looking for inspiration for your next holiday with children then do consider a farm-stay, even if only for a short break, it just might be what the doctor ordered.
Whilst writing this we are in the car on our way to Cornwall to our newest edition of family-friendly cottages on a five star farm, with 150 acres, private gardens, kids club and more. We are staying in a one bedroom cottage with enclosed garden overlooking the valley and apparently offering amazing views. Located near Looe in Cornwall it is an ideal place to stay to explore what this part of Cornwall has to offer. If it continues to rain we have lots of contingency plans and ideas of places to visit, but we are going to go with the flow and see what happens, probably on an hourly basis with the weather forecast as it is! We have taken our dog Millie too. It is spring and it is raining, oh no it has stopped, oh hang on it’s raining again ha! We know we will have fun and look forward to reporting back shortly…
