There are 22 regions in France to choose from. These tend to be split into 6 tourist areas with their own characteristics and attractions for a holiday destination.
The North West – A sunnier and warmer version of the South West of England, easily accessible for visitors from the UK and provides coastal and inland attractions for the family. Take a look at Brittany and Normandy to see what we have to offer in this area.
The heart of France - Paris is only 3 hours by train from London and it is a popular family holiday destination thanks to Mr Disney in part. However take a look at the Pays de la Loire, Centre and Burgundy for properties in this area.
North East France – Leave the UK from London and arrive 2-3 hours later in the North East to countryside, lots of rivers, historical sites and cathedrals.
Southwest France – Long sandy beaches, pretty villages and towns. Take a look at the Aquitaine, Poitou Charente and midi-Pyrenees regions.
Upland France – Mountains, castles, beautiful countryside and fantastic food. Try Limousin, Auvergne and the Dordogne (Aquitaine)
Le Midi – southern France – The most popular area for tourists, long sandy beaches, the French Riviera and vineyards of the Languedoc. Take a look at Languedoc-Roussillon and Cote d’azur regions.
