Overview - Le Tilleul - Le Pommier (The Apple Tree)
This beautiful holiday property is set in a lovely rural location, yet only a few minutes to the local village. The market town of La Rochefoucauld is just 10 minutes away so you have access to all the restaurants, shopping and beautiful chateau. With lots to do in the area from the adventure parc in local Massignac (ten minute drive) to the town of Brantome, surrounded by the River Dronne (just under an hour’s drive) with pavement cafes and restaurants and large park area.
The cottage shares the grounds with only one other cottage so the pool is never crowded and you have access to the huge garden which can be seen from your cottage thanks to the elevated position. In fact you can see the whole property from your balcony here! Kids will love the freedom to run and play games safely, maybe a game of table tennis, enjoy the trampoline or some petanque. There is also an enclosed children's play area.
We think you will also enjoy the summer terrace, overlooking the fully enclosed pool. You can watch the kids play in the garden and enjoy a good book on the hammock, or a glass of wine in the shade. The summer terrace has sofas, dining area and a fridge so you don’t need to move too far!
The cottage is fully equipped with all the baby/toddler equipment you need and the owners are always looking to make your stay comfortable and cater to your family’s individual needs so if there is anything you need don’t hesitate to ask. The 5 star reviews in the guest book and online mention the owner’s attention to detail and that nothing is ever too much trouble. A fantastic family-friendly holiday location where you can totally relax and enjoy each other’s company.
