Overview - Molino Rio Alajar, La Ciguena
Molino Rio Alajar is situated in an amazing rural location in the Huelva region of Andalucia. This cottage, La Ciguena, is the perfect base to explore the fantastic Sierra de Aracena Natural Park and surrounding towns and villages. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to enjoy the nature and countryside will be the main attraction for sure.
Take a stroll to the many villages that are pretty much as they were centuries ago, think cobbled tracks, abandoned watermills and ancient forts. Enjoy the history, the architecture and the Andalusian cuisine. Spain’s largest wildlife sanctuary is within easy reach and along the coast you will find fishing villages and fine beaches as well as Seville just over 1 hr 30 minutes away. (See the Tots Top 10 for some great places and attractions to take the family)
Back at the cottage you will enjoy the quiet and tranquil surroundings. Read a book, relax on the deckchairs, take a dip in the pool and soak up the scenery whilst the kids enjoy some outdoor games, the toddler pool and sandpit as well as the very friendly donkeys which you can hire for a guided treck through the countryside. You can be as active as you wish.
If you would like to borrow any of the baby/toddler items please enquire with the owners. There are monitors, pushchair, books and DVD’s, toys etc.. so please just ask. (See the facilities list for full itinerary)
