This five star luxury Georgian farmhouse at Treworgey Cottages in Cornwall, is perfect for a family holiday or special family event for up to 11 guests plus cots. There are also 16 other family-friendly holiday cottages, all with private gardens if you need to extend your numbers.

Treworgey has been run by the same family for 40 years and they can provide catering services should you want them, from simple home-cooked meals delivered to your cottage right through to wedding receptions and everything in between.

Within the farm there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained. The little ones will enjoy the large collection of ride-on toys, soft play and Brio train track, wendy house, craft boxes and of course helping feed the animals. There are indoor and outdoor play areas for all ages with table tennis, pool table and books and toys, a heated outdoor swimming pool, spa, all weather tennis court, riding school etc. The owners can also offer babysitting.

Treworgey is dog and pony friendly, yes you can bring your own! You are also welcome to bring your cat, tortoise or rabbit too! Many of the private gardens have gates leading onto meadows and walks. There is a paddock for dogs to play and the owners have a great list of dog-friendly days out.

Further afield you can take a stroll along the farm track which will take you to the local village (a mile and a half). The owners here are passionate about making sure they have a superb selection of luxury family-friendly holiday accommodation. They also care about the impact this has on the environment and have spent years working on reducing their environmental impact and their green credentials are amazing. They have solar panels, a wind turbine and more recently grow Bio fuel in 20 acres of their own land for their Biomass District Heating System with the aim of heating all the cottages.

Property details

A Georgian farmhouse nestled at the heart of Treworgey Farm, offering picturesque views of the valley and the river below. Step through the front porch adorned with stained-glass windows and mosaic-tiled floors, leading into the inviting flagstoned hall.

On your left, you'll find the spacious main living room featuring a magnificent Inglenook fireplace, a baby grand piano, plush armchairs and sofas. Entertainment is at your fingertips with a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker, while large sash windows flood the room with natural light. To the right, the elegant dining room awaits, boasting a large table, marble fireplace and large bay windows with glorious views. 

Continue through the hall to discover the farmhouse kitchen, complete with a large table, all the modern conveniences including an electric Range cooker. A highlight is the family Aga, now converted to an e-control electric system, available for your use (please inform us prior to your arrival). Next to the kitchen, you'll find a walk-in pantry, side porch, spacious utility room, and a walk-in shower room and WC. There is one twin bedroom downstairs.

Upstairs, you'll find four bedrooms, two of which are king rooms and the other two offer versatile super-king/twin ziplock beds. Two bedrooms boast en suite shower rooms, while a single bedroom and a large family bathroom with a walk-in shower and roll-top bath complete the upstairs accommodations. 

Outside, the farmhouse is adorned with climbing roses and flower borders, creating sun-trap private gardens both at the front and back, perfect for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment during your family holiday.
