This mini gite complex located in a pretty village in the Charente Maritime is home to four gites and a chambre d'hote and can host 22 people in total. With onsite facilities for all ages it is a perfect spot for larger families / groups to come together for a holiday, whilst still having their own space.
Les Gites du Vigneron gites have recently been renovated, sleeping between 2 and 8 guests. Each property has a private terrace, with outdoor seating and BBQ for easy alfresco dining. There is easy access to the communal garden from each terrace.
The garden has shady and sunny spots, a trampoline, play barns and secured shared heated swimming pool for all. For the under 5s there is a covered shaded play barn (fenced) with rocking horses, slide, swing, sand pit and many more fun games and toys. The games room is ideal for older kids and adults with a table tennis table, table football and other indoor and outdoor games.
There is a wonderful former cognac barn with stone walls, its original wine vats, a bar, tables and chairs being able to seat 50 people for a sit-down meal, making it a perfect place for a family celebration. Catering can also be arranged. This can be rented separately by groups renting all of the gites.
This collection of gites is only 10 minutes by car from a town called Pons with a good selection of shops and restaurants and only 20 minutes to the wonderful towns of Cognac and Saintes. 35-40 minutes to the sandy beaches of Gironde estuary or 45-50 minutes to the Atlantic coast.

Chevrefeuille – 3 bedrooms - sleeps 8.
Ground floor: Large airy living space with two sofas, armchair and two bean bags. Dining area has a dining table and chairs seating 8. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave. Bedroom 3 with double bed.
First floor: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and seating area, en-suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 is a large room with four single beds (which can be made into 2 kings) and a family bathroom with shower.
Paquerette – 3 bedrooms – sleeps 6.
Ground floor: living area has a comfortable three-piece suite, dining table seating 6. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher.
First floor: bedroom 1 has a king size bed and en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 is another king size bed that can be configured as two singles and in bedroom 3 there are two single beds. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have a door to the shared family bathroom with shower.
Pervenche – 2 bedrooms – sleeps 4.
Ground floor: living area has a comfortable sofa and armchair, tables and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a WC.
First floor: bedroom 1 has a double bed and bedroom 2 has two single beds. There is a bathroom with shower.
Myosotis – 1 bedroom, sleeps 2 (making it perfect for a couple and baby)
Ground floor: living area has a two-seater sofa and armchair, dining table and two chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, and microwave.
First floor: double bedroom with space for a travel cot, plus en-suite bathroom with shower.
All cottages have blackout blinds on their bedroom windows, Wi-Fi, TV with satellite channels and a DVD player. There is an onsite laundry room with two washing machines. The laundry room also has a range of books, a DVD library and tourist information.
