Flear Farm luxury cottages are surrounded by nature and wildlife and are located in South Devon. it is the perfect bolthole for a family holiday, extended family holiday or even a celebratory get together. 

There are 13 self-catering holiday cottages, ranging in sizes from sleeping 2 plus cot with the largest sleeping 10. Each cottage is well-equipped for baby and toddlers, and all have retained many of their beautiful original features. 

Not only are the cottages perfect for families but the whole of Flear’s 27 acres has it covered. Guests can explore the grounds, enjoy the nature trail around Flear woods and through the fields, meeting and greeting the friendly ponies, alpacas, chickens and then the ducks and geese at the pond.

Children will love morning animal feed time with groundkeeper Lou followed by a play in their large indoor heated swimming pool, but that’s not all, there is a giant indoor play barn with a soft play area, a soft floor playground with a slide, swings and climbing frame. Ride on toys, various baby walkers, a two-story Wendy house and comfy sofas for the adults to chill out while the little one’s play. There is also a pool table, table tennis and a table football so the older kids can have some fun too.

Guests also have the luxury of enjoying being pampered, as there is a treatment room with an in-house therapist. There is also a steam room in the pool area large enough to fit the whole family but understandable if parents want some alone time. The hot tub and sun terrace is a big hit with its views across the valley. 

There are picnic areas scattered within the grounds along with BBQ areas. Tennis courts for those who like to be active and a 3-hole Pitch & Put green. The honesty shop is perfect for quick snacks, easy frozen gourmet ready meals, ice cream and some of their very own home-grown cider. 

Owners Barney and Camilla Fawcett and their three boys, including baby Eden live at Flear Farm and work with their manager Bridget and Groundkeeper Lou. Guests are welcomed with a lovely cream tea and are looked after from day one until they leave, there are even catering options for those looking to have a celebration. They also offer tennis lessons and swimming lessons, supermarket deliveries and have babysitting options.
