Feather Down Farms is offer quaint hideaways in the outdoors for families with young children, looking for an adventure in the countryside.
Heydon Grove Farm is set in north Norfolk countryside, down some lovely lanes that are quiet and perfect for a cycle with the family. Guests can bring their own bikes or hire ones from the farm.
The glamping tents are kitted out, with having a family in mind to stay. Cosy interiors and comfy beds, plus a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living after for everyone. The canvas hideaway also increases in size when opened at the front to include the canopy. Private flushing toilet and shower.
This little hideaway is set not far from Holt and near the popular seaside town, Cromer and other seaside towns worth exploring., such as Cley-next-the Sea and Wells-next-the Sea, the stunning beach of Holkham – all great for a coastal day out on a sandy beach.
Little ones can help collect the eggs in the morning from the chickens, which can be cooked on the wood-burning stove for breakfast. There is also a honesty shop where guests can buy barbecue boxes and local produce.
The farmer will usually fire up the pizza oven during guests stay, where it is a great time to meet other families staying at Heydon Grove. Different food boxes can be supplied, saving families having to do a shop!
These canvas tents are dog-friendly and Norfolk is an extremely dog-friendly location with dog-friendly beaches and pubs, including the Earle Arms, voted runner-up in Best Country Pub of the year by the BBC, that is only 20 minutes walk.
Feather Down Farms is proud to support British farmers with their selected farms.
