On the farm there are friendly farm animals such as pigs, sheep, goats, geese, ducks, chicken and even some ponies to groom. From the farm itself, guests can explore the woodland on footpaths and grass fields around the farm, explore on foot or by cycling.
If you want a city to break the holiday up, Oxford and Cambridge are within an easy reach for days out. A little bit closer, where the cars are not needed but maybe a bike is, you will find the market town of Olney, which happens to be a great place for wild swimming!
After a long busy day exploring locally or afar, families will love heading to the honesty shop for a bite to eat, with meals on offer cooked by the owner Hannah herself. The farmer also offers a pizza night where they cook lovely pizzas in their pizza oven, perfect for families to come together to mingle.
New Barn is part of the Feather Down Family, a collection of canvas hideaways on beautiful private farms throughout the UK and abroad – visiting a farm means you are helping the rural and local economy, while enjoying nature and learning where your food comes from. The Feather Down Farms concept began in 2006 and was originally developed by the late Luite Moraal, a veteran of Disney and Center Parcs. Since opening the first farm in the South Downs Hampshire, Feather Down has expanded to over 75 farms in the UK, Holland, France and Germany.
Feather Down Farms is proud to support British farmers with their selected farms.
