Cuckoo Down Farm is a family-friendly glamping farm located in the beautiful Devon countryside close to family-friendly sandy beaches such as Sidmouth, Beer, Branscombe and Exmouth. 

Enjoy glamping with the whole family in a beautiful location, in a choice of four beautifully decorated safari lodges and a secluded yurt, all with their own private hot tub, shower and toilet. The family-friendly glamping tents are all positioned to get sun all day and also face into the west for beautiful sunsets, how lovely to sip a glass of wine or cup of tea while watching the kids play. 

Inside each glamping tent families will find fresh bedlinen, towels, a welcome pack, board games and books. Order a children’s toybox, highchair and travel cot all free of charge, perfect for a glamping holiday with babies and toddlers. 

Children will love to meet and ride resident pony Ebony and maybe have a picnic with him. There are also lots of other animals to meet, pygmy goats, chickens and sheep and acres of space to explore. The owners offer pony rides, pony picnic walks, family forest school sessions and spa and beauty treatments and catering for special occasions. 

The Sheaves family have lived at Cuckoo Down Farm since the 1950s. Current owners Becky and John Sheaves bought up their six children at the farm and now the grandchildren have lots of fun here! They are happy to offer babysitting too for parents who fancy a little time out (Becky is a childminder)

SAFARI TENTS 
There are four safari tents all positioned about 30 meters apart dotted around the edge of a gently sloping meadow.
Each luxury glamping tent enjoys sunshine all day long and beautiful sun sets.
There is a large living area with kitchen including dining table and six chairs and leather sofa with cushions
There is also a double sofa bed, cosy rugs and board games
Woodburning stove with fireguard.
2 Bedrooms: comfy beds and blackout curtains for a good nights sleep – towels also included.
Each glamping tent has its own bathroom and toilet.

Beside each safari tent is a woodfired hot tub, time to relax and unwind, maybe under the stars. As well as a hot tub each safari tent has a campfire area with seating – all guests are offered a starter pack of firewood. 

YURT
There is one yurt at Cuckoo Down Farm, tucked away in a small, fenced paddock, ideal for families looking for a little seclusion. It is securely fenced so perfect for dogs and wandering toddlers.
Open plan living / sleeping area, comfy double bed and two sofa beds. Cosy rugs cushions, books, and games.
There is a woodburning stove for extra warmth.

The kitchen is next to the yurt as well as the shower and toilet. There is a private hot tub, and campfire.
