• Village Playground - Swings , sit on’s & a climbing frame with slide located across the road from apartments
• Alés River Beach - A 15 minute drive away . Alés River beach has some excellent facilities including easy parking , shallow water swimming for kids , showers , a lifeguard , beach volleyball , boules , pedal boating , kayaking , water bubbles , a café bar & a Restaurant . You can also rent sun loungers, umbrella’s , kayaks , pedal boats etc … At night time during summer there is normally a DJ or other free musical entertainment throughout the entire week
• Teddy Bear & Doll Museum - Located just a few minutes away in the next village The museum has a collection of 1,000 exhibits of dolls and teddy bears from the middle of the 19th century to the present day. You can also enjoy two permanent exhibitions: "Haute-couture 1950-2009 in teddy bear land" and "School memories from the Sixties
• The Cevennes Steam Train - The Cevennes steam train offers young and old the opportunity of a unique trip, on which you can enjoy a view of the first foothills of the Cevennes mountains. In Anduze and Saint-Jean-du-Gard stations there are exhibitions which explain the history of the train. Also there are kids play areas in both stations Halts along the way enable you to stop off at one of several restaurants for a leisurely lunch, at a reasonable price, before continuing on your journey.
• The Bambouseraie - Magical and exotic, this is the only bamboo forest in Europe! Created in 1856, this park invites you to discover more than 150 varieties of bamboos in a stunning setting. You will also see hundred-year old sequoias, banana trees, rare plants and the small valley of the dragon. You will discover the bamboo village, the greenhouses with their brightly coloured flowers and the tranquility of the water garden. This delightful park, which is renowned throughout the world, is located in the community of Générargues, close to Anduze and you can reach it by car or also by the Cevennes steam train which has a stop inside the Bambouseraie on it’s route between Anduze and Saint-Jean-du-Gard .
• Le Parc Parfum d’Aventure - In the heart of the "Cevennes", in a sunny place, come to discover this marvellous forest... For adults or children it's a good place to take advantage of nature and adventure !
• The Haribo Museum - The Haribo museum is a children's paradise and provides an excellent attraction for a few hours visit. It is built in a pleasant setting by a water mill and is very reasonable value.
• Montpellier Aquarium - Located in the huge Montpellier Odysseum commercial centre along with a planetarium , a multiplex cinema , climbing wall , go-karts & bowling you will find the Mare Nostrum Aquarium . The entire aquarium was designed to immerse visitors in an aquatic universe, from the high seas to the marvels of the tropics.
• La Bouscaresse Water Park - No big slides or wild rides here . This waterpark was designed with the little ones in mind . Small shallow pools and a lazy river ride are about as exciting as it gets . Because of this the noisy teenagers tend to avoid it so it is just perfect for families with pre-teens & young children
• Palavas-les-Flots - Located just an hour away this resort town has a lovely French feel to it . There is a small cable car which transports you back and over across the river and a big sandy beach with shallow water for the kids . There are many small café’s , bars & restaurants as well as creperies and ice-cream parlours located along both sides of the river . Just 1 hours drive away – it is a love spot to spend a day at the beach .
