This family friendly holiday cottage offers a beautiful place from which to explore the Cornish coast and it’s attractions. Located at the end of a Georgian terrace in Charlestown, 100 yards from the Sea it is beautifully decorated, and ideal for a family of 4. Their is a abundance of baby and toddler equipment on offer from cot, high chair, stairgates, changing mat to baby monitor, anit door slammers socket cuvers and blackout blinds, the list is almost endless…
Built in the late 1700’s, the port of Charlestown is largely unchanged and is now home to 3 tall ships, Phoenix, Kaskelot and Earl of Pembroke. The beaches, either side of the Quay, are so close a toddler can make it. It is an easy stroll over the Quay’s lock gate to the Hotel for a crab sarnie on their terrace or you might like to stay at home in the lovingly planted, south facing Flower Garden.
Property details
There are two bedrooms (a king and a double) and both beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton.
The kitchen has a slate floor and the modern appliances you would expect, ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, WiFi and landline phone and hopefully everything else you might need! The washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are in the laundry cupboard in the extension....
The open plan sitting room has wood burner and dining table with oak floors and a pair of tiny sofas beside the burner. The television has a built in DVD, and there is a radio/CD, both of which are digital.
The bathroom is in the modern extension, so it seemed appropriate to kit it out appropriately... with a bath and a shower and the softest towels to wrap up in after a good long soak.
Dine in cosy candlelight at the table in the sitting room, warmed by the wood burner and catch the sun rising with an alfresco breakfast in the front lawned garden.
