The amazing site is home to 5 different nomadic glamping experiences. Enjoy the comforts of your yurt and enjoy exploring the gardens with their stunning wood carvings, labyrinth, natural artworks and woodland play. The site is in a lovely spot where the kids can go and explore without the worry of main roads being near-by. Let them enjoy discovering the woodland and looking out for the totem pole!
The central communal log cabin provides with you all the kitchen items you may need including a cooking range, utensils and equipment. There is also a power supply to charge any devices. This is a completely green site so you won’t find a mains supply but wind generators and solar panels. As there are no fridges, you can borrow cool boxes and ice packs will be replenished for you daily. There are hot showers and toilets. (Flushable and compost)
If you would like to be really green yourselves – you can get public transport and the owners will come and collect you from the train station free of charge. Not only that but they will take you to the local shops to collect any food and essentials throughout your stay!
If you would like to get out and about, you can hire bikes locally and explore the surroundings. The coastline is within half an hour’s drive so it’s a great location to enjoy a day out and then return for your evenings al fresco dining and star gazing. If that’s a bit too energetic – enjoy a relaxing massage or healing treatment, you will be sure to unwind and rejuvenate yourselves away from your busy and hectic normal lifestyle - And how amazing to have one of these in your yurt in such beautiful natural surroundings!
The Bentwood yurt is native to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. It is very spacious and has an awesome view of the woodland. The dome shape gives the yurt a light and airy atmosphere. There is a cast iron wood stove in the yurt which is amazing for the winter. There are 2 single beds and a double with mattresses, covers and pillows as well as some extra blankets.
The soft furnishings add real comfort to the yurt and it’s a great place to sit back and relax. Outside, you will find a camp fire area and wooden benches and table for your evenings of eating and socialising with the family.
