Overview - New Forest Escapes - The Old Post Office
This lovely holiday home in Hampshire has it all. Walk to beaches, such as the small beach in Keyhaven to larger beaches just 5-10 mins walk across the coastal path. The cottage is located near Milford on Sea and is just a 20 min cycle along the back tracks to Lymington. It is perfect for a family or friends who enjoy getting out and about. Dogs are welcome too and it is perfect for exploring with your four legged friend.
The Old Post Office cottage is beautifully decorated and boasts sea-side views from two sides. To the left are the small blue boats in the harbour and to the front the salt marshes of the Solent, Hurst Castle and, two miles away in the distance, the Isle of Wight Needles.
The boat yard is perfect for a bit of fun crabbing and when the tide is out a little sandy beach appears here, perfect for some toddler beach play. There are also lots of foodie options all within walking distance.
If you want to take your pooch, the nearest beach allows dogs and so does Hurst Castle, which happens to be within walking distance and offers a little café for a treat.
Explore the coastal tracks on foot or by bike from your doorstep, they are perfect for families with little people. Of course you can also hop in your car and visit the numerous family friendly attractions the New Forest has to offer.
