Overview - New Forest Escapes - Slate Cottage
This lovely family-friendly holiday home in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire is the perfect place to holiday for families with a special person to spoil, maybe a birthday or just because you are all worth it!
The generous living accommodation can accommodate up to nine guests and babies, plus if you have visiting family or friends (an extra 2 max). There is a sofa bed for another 2 guests. Dogs are also welcome
Located just a five-minute walk to the shops and a great play park with Waitrose and Lymington about 30 minute walk. For an adventure, head north into the National Park, play in streams, search for ponies, make dens and explore the beautiful New Forest. The Hampshire coast is a mile and a half in distance.
For special celebrations, the owners can arrange caterers. Guests can have pre-drinks and canapés upstairs while the catering team cook and theme the table downstairs. The house itself is lovely and beautifully decorated with an enclosed garden and play room for the kids.
The garden overlooks the paddock, home to two Shetland ponies, Barney Buttons and Scooby Doo and the odd deer or two!
Property details
The house can sleep 3 couples and there is one bunk with an extra trundle bed for three children plus cots. There is also a sofa bed located in the play room for an extra 2 visitors.
Ground floor:
Large dining room for 10 and separate kitchen which also has a table for 8. The kitchen leads to the enclosed garden. As with all the holiday properties on Holiday Tots there are stairgates in the cottage even for the open stair case downstairs.
Separate playroom is via the dining room with lots of toys (most of them are new for December 2017)
There are two bedrooms here, a king and 1 bunk with truckle bed plus a family bathroom with bath and a shower room.
First floor:
Here you will find an enormous lounge area stretching the full length of the house with a sun terrace.
There are two bedrooms here too, a king with ensuite and a super king that can be set as a twin bedroom.
