• Submarine Safaris - Great for all the family, young or old, view Lanzarote beneath the sea on board a Submarine Safari yellow submarine. Dive to a depth of 60 metres and see an incredible array of sea life.

• La Garita Beach - The local beach in Arrieta boasts a sandy and pebblel beach called “Playa de La Garita”. There is a WC and showers, parking, play park and restaurants
• Visit to La Graciosa Island - The beautiful La Graciosa Island is just a 2 minute ferry ride from the north of Lanzarote. It is a lovely island with beautiful sandy beaches and local restuarants. It’s a great family-friendly day out.
• Aquapark Costa Teguise Lanzarote - Aquapark Costa Teguise is Lanzarote’s largest waterpark. Fun for all ages here, there is a toddler zone and they can also provide fun birthday parties too. There are restuarants and bars here as well us activities to keep dry like cinema, paint ball, electric car circuit. The Aquapark is open from 10:00h to 18:00h from April to November.

• Cactus Garden - The Cactus Garden in Gautiza Lanzarote s beautiful and home to over 1,000 species of cactus. It is a peaceful place and ideal for a family excursion. Entrance is free for under 7s and the café has plenty of high chairs and there are baby changing facilities too.

• Pirate Museum in Teguise - The pirate museum is small but a nice little break from the sun as it is situated in the caselte with lovely views! There is a also a printable activity for the children from their website if you think you might visit.

• The Cave of Los Verdes - We visited The Caves of Los Verdes when we went to Lanzorote and really enjoyed them. Steep steps to enter but if your little ones can cope with that and some uneven territory then they are worth visiting. They were formed 3000 years ago and finding out the secret of the Cave of Los Verdes is worth the visit alone! Freddie was six years old when we took him. It was a great half day out of the sunshine.
• Catlanza Catamaran - Take a ride on a luxury catamaran – if the littlies are up for it! This sails from the lovely marina of Puerto Calero and includes lunch, drinks, snorkeling and a jet sky ski ride for older memebers of the family. They can also arrange private sailings on request. Under 2s travel free. So if you think they can cope (or you can) it’s a fab day out!

• Hire a Pedal - There are pedaloes for hire in Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca, which are good fun and a great way to get afloat in The Atlantic!
• Surf/kite lessons - Surf lessons for older children 7/8 upwards to adults of all levels - all day lessons including picnic lunch, equipment and instruction. 
• El Golfo - Head south to the lovely small village of El Golfo with its beautiful black beaches of black volcanic pebbles and a striking green lagoon. This lovely village has some wonderful sea food restaurants with lovely sea views. We visited here, it’s not touristy so not for families looking for lots of people, shops and attractions. (the drive to here is amazing, we loved it here, rustic, quiet and charming with a wonderful restaurant right on the beach)
