Holiday Tots and Tredethick Farm have worked together to present to you a delightful seven-day itinerary, unveiling the wonders of a family holiday when staying at Tredethick Farm in the beautiful Cornwall countryside. Discover a family-friendly adventure, excitement, and relaxation! Enjoy animal feeding, pony rides, traditional cream teas, and explore the stunning Cornish coast. With an array of baby and toddler amenities ensuring a hassle-free experience, pack light and enjoy a week of family time! It's a fun-filled holiday escape in beautiful Cornwall!

A fun family friendly farm stay in Cornwall

Arrival
Lots of baby and toddler-friendly holiday kit - so you can pack light.

  • Check in and enjoy a welcome cream tea and fresh apple juice, unpack, flop
  • Grab supper from the farm shop
  • Parent hot tub tag night 1!  Remaining parent – warm up the log burner and settle in
 

Day 2

Settle in and enjoy the on-site facilities and activities.

Morning:

  • Animal feeding, Soft play, mini tractor and balance bike track, playpark.
  • Afternoon
  • Pool swim and a trip to Lerryn creek (just five minutes’ drive away) for a buggy friendly walk through the woods and a maybe mooch along the stepping stones. Optional take-out coffee from Lerryn River Stores.
 

Day 3
Morning:

  • after brekkie with eggs picked yesterday, take a mini-tractor tour of the farm and visit the goats, pigs, lambs, chickens and more
  • walk the farm trail and woodland playscape, take a story map and scavenger hunt activity bag
Afternoon:
Evening:
  • relax with a Cook! curry and local cider, did anyone say hot tub!
 

Day 4
Morning:

  • Pony rides and a swim
Afternoon:
  • Crabbing/shopping/mooching in the picturesque seaside town of Fowey. Take the Bodinnick car ferry to make a circular trip. We’ve a select of family walks in our digital guestbook (complete with treat stops!) Visit the quaint local aquarium, or the wondrous, hands-on MAD (Mechanical Art and Design Museum).  Enjoy the town beach: Readymoney Cove, and a bun from The Mardy Bakery or monster ice cream at Ruby’s
 

Day 5

Day 6 

  • Start the day with pony rides at the farm.  Then head out to one of the following family friendly attractions
  • Lost Gardens of Heligan – if you are feeling energetic, combination with a trip to Portholland beach or Porthpean.
  • Or the Eden Project and a mooch in Charlestown and the Shipwreck Museum.
  • You might want supper out?  We’d recommend The Longstore for seafood and steaks.
 

Day 7
Morning:

  • animal feeding (shhh… with a party bag for mini farmers) animal feeding trampoline time and a little swim maybe
Afternoon:
  • Take a trip to Polkerris beach and a sea view for your last evening meal at Sam’s on the Beach.  This is a great beach for young children.  A curved, sheltering harbour walk, shallow beach and great facilities (loos, beach shop, cafe).
  • Or – if the weather is clement – grab delicious picnic bits from Bellamama Deli (homemade Scotch eggs anyone?) for a family picnic.
 

Departure Day 

Time to pack up for home. Quick cuddle with the favourite animal. May be time to squeeze in a trip to Restormel Castle ((fabulous ruins of a medieval castle) for a leg stretch and a fortifying coffee and cake at Prince William's Duchy Nursery near Lostwithiel?
