A family-friendly farm that is perfect for families with young children, toddlers and babies looking for a holiday in Cornwall. A lovely place to unwind, make new friends, feed animals, play, explore and have lots of fun!
Within the farm there is an abundance of fun activities to keep the little ones entertained: the swimming pool (always heated to 30 degrees). There is an outdoor play park, giant trampoline and farm themed balance bike track and a play barn. There is also an indoor soft play area with views of sweeping farmland serving free posh coffee or hot chocolate and complimentary weekend newspapers. New to Tredethick is a woodland playscape along the farm trail, it including a maze, stepping stones and a log bridge, a climbing frame, a swing and balance ropes and beams, all set in our private woodland.
If your little ones are animal lovers, then they will squeal with excitement when they get the chance to feed the animals three times a week. They can bottle feed the lambs or even hand feed the goats. Herd the little piglets and help collect the freshly laid eggs. Children can also enjoy a short pony ride on one of the gentle ponies (available twice a week).
For the adults, they have tucked away behind the swimming pool is an arched wooden doorway that leads to the hot tub garden, a great place to unwind, relax or plunge in as a family.
The small farm shop is a must visit, with its delicious ready-made COOK meals and lovely local treats such as cider, biscuits, fudge and ice cream. You can also follow a farm trail that will lead you through some woods, across the fields to the riverside hamlet of St. Winnow. Collect a scavenger bag for the children to keep them occupied on the nature walk.
